Downtime

Coaches encourage their clients to utilize their intentional downtime to rejuvenate and refresh. I am doing that this week in Sapphire Valley, NC. Nice weather, cool evenings and mornings and thought time are perfect for me right now. Having time to reassess, plan and dream is good for the psyche and healthful for one’s mental condition. As we paddled the Nantahala River and I fly fished, the beauty of nature replenished my soul. The next days will continue to be peaceful times to explore nature and to engage in good conversations with my wife. Like I recommend to my coaching clients, vacations are important for recalibration of life-goals and career-decisions. I am grateful for the time.
